The food was delicious and the service was excellent! They are very dog friendly and even surprised our pug with his own little breakfast. They had patio seating that was covered so we could still eat outside even though it was raining. We had a breakfast sandwich with bacon and a country combo. The hashbrowns were nice and crispy. Just add your own salt so high blood pressure friendly. They don't have any specialty coffee drinks like lattes, etc. but they have regular coffee and juice. Definitely going back with our dog.

I had my first breakfast of 2025 at Time Out Cafe, a charming local gem in Vista, California. The food was absolutely fresh and delicious—crispy hashbrowns, perfectly cooked bacon, and fresh eggs that hit the spot! What makes this place even more special is the hardworking couple who run it. The wife manages the front with such care and patience, while the husband works his magic in the kitchen, cooking up amazing dishes. If you’re looking for a cozy spot with great food and a family-run vibe, this is it. Just be prepared to take your time and enjoy the experience.

the lumberjack breakfast was delicious! portion size is also good for food we ordered. the service was good! hot coffee and hot food, that makes all the difference for a positive breakfast!

They treat your dogs like KING! their food is bomb (specifically, the time out sandwich is phenomenal) If you have a dog, must try place for you “dogs welcome, people tolerated”

The food was delicious and our server was so sweet! The patio was perfect to bring our dogs and they even brought each dog a surprise breakfast plate, along with water bowls and cushions so our pups could lay down. Exactly what we were craving for breakfast and we will be back!

I've been there twice so far, and the service and food have been amazing. The Ribeye steak was the best I've had yet!!!

Amazing breakfast. My eggs were cooked to perfection! Everything tasted amazing, and came out super quick. The staff was super friendly. We received prompt service and everyone we talked to was extremely welcoming. The restaurant is nothing special, but is neat, clean, and everything you need to sit down and have a bite for breakfast. There's a nice patio area that's also dog friendly, which I always like to see. We ate on the patio and another couple brought in a dog. The staff was very accommodating, bringing out water for the pup. Prices are good compared to some of the other breakfast places in the Vista area. You definitely get your money's worth here. I highly recommend a visit here. I know we will be back in the near future
